Stay healthy and watch volleyball
Yuri Marichev: “Dear volleyball fans, I wish you health, happiness in the new year. Only good to you. ”
Andrei Voronkov: “First of all, health. The second – patience and self-confidence, confidence that our country is on its course. Try to avoid doubt about what we are doing. As in sports. ”
Alexei Verbov missed the World Cup due to an injury, he recovered for a long time, returning to the site closer to winter. The return turned out to be very successful – Alexey excellently held the “Final Six” of the Russian Cup, together with Kazan “Zenith” winning first place. Kazan is in a great mood for the New Year, and Aleksey Verbov, especially for the “Championship”, recalls the most unusual meeting of the New Year: “I first got into the Russian team on the eve of the new 2004. It was an Olympic qualifying tournament, and a friendly match with Holland was scheduled for January 1. I will remember this New Year’s Eve forever. Firstly, this is the only time I have not been with my family. And secondly, I was in Holland, and all my thoughts were only about volleyball. I was afraid to let the team, the country. Therefore, when everyone raised their glasses with champagne, I held the glass for a look, and then quickly went to bed. I was very worried. ”
The last Russian trophy in 2014 was played in Krasnodar, where six of the strongest women’s teams competed for the Russian Cup. This southern city hosted the final stage of this competition for the third time, but the local club was unable to get to the top of the podium. And finally it happened. “Championship” congratulates Krasnodar “Dynamo” with gold medals, and Alexandra Pasynkova and Lyubov Sokolova talk about New Year’s traditions in the Russian Super League.
Alexandra Pasynkova: “In Uralochka we had our own New Year’s tradition. A few days before the New Year, we wrote on the leaflets the names of the players of our team, put them in a hat and each of us pulled out one leaf from the hat. Whoever pulled out his last name gives him a gift for the New Year! In the new 2015, I wish everyone good health, happiness, success in work and school, good mood! And, of course, come to Olympus, cheer for us, we need your support! “
Lyubov Sokolova: “When I played in Zarechye-Odintsovo, every year on December 29, we organized a corporate party in the club. Various artists came to congratulate us – Dmitry Malikov, “Tea for Two”, “Tokyo”. The girls and I were preparing very seriously for this event. Even if there was a game that day, after we rushed home, dressed in evening gowns, “made a marafet”. They were so beautiful that we really could not be recognized (laughs). In the New Year, I wish you new events, a new appreciation of the ruble, good health, happiness, new victories, good luck and joy! And I also want to wish everyone peace on earth! ”
Kazan “Dynamo” in the Cup of Russia surprised many – wards of Richard Gilyazutdinov did not even get into the top three. But in any case, the club from Tatarstan remains the current champion of Russia and one of the contenders for the highest places in our championship and in the Champions League. Evgenia Startseva, Irina Malkova and Elena Yuryeva wish the readers of the “Championship” a Happy New Year.
Evgenia Startseva: “Since it’s so a little bit difficult in Russia now, I wish everyone that they have everything good. Not even talking about volleyball – just so that everything works out for everyone. Our team, of course, has more victories. And to the fans: health and that just everyone was happy, that all families were alive and well and that everything was good. ”
Irina Malkova: “Our dear fans, thank you very much for your support! For your warmth, for those sincere emotions that you give us. I want to wish everyone in the new year to make you happy! And most importantly – health! And just cheer for us – and we will delight you! ”
Elena Yuryeva: “The most important thing is health, peace, happiness in the family! So that everything was good with them, good luck, success! And of course, to come and cheer for us. Because we play only for them.
It seems to me that every year a miracle is this holiday. Because I’m still a Catholic, and for us a more important holiday, in principle, is Christmas. New Year is in second place. And every year I really want to come home, because it is really a family holiday. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work. But I always remember my childhood: when you decorate a Christmas tree with your whole family, then night vigil and wait for presents, of course. I want every year this state of the holiday. ”
